Dog Paddling Like Mad, and Future Plans

So it looks like I haven’t blogged here for a while- Sorry about that!  I’m currently knee deep in a few different projects, and sadly my blog Emerald Musings has suffered for it.  But never fear, I am still reading and reviewing books, and still causing trouble where ever I go.  Just haven’t gotten the chance to write much of the stuff down.

In March, we’ll be launching a free newsletter for The Writer’s Thread.  It will contain fiction from The Writer’s Thread Showcase, advice and tips on  writing, and running a freelance business, occasional interviews, and other fun stuff.  And best of all, it’s only coming out once a month, so your email inbox won’t be filled with annoying weekly messages!

For those of you who are following me on Twitter, you know that I’ve sent out the call to talk to people or companies that help authors and writers make their mark in the world.  The suggestions have started to come in, and if everything goes according to plan, the months of April and May will feature some great interviews and possibly guest posts on Emerald Musings.

The Writer’s Thread Showcase is also gearing up to bring you new fiction on both the Sacrament and Short Tales channels- both of which are free to read online.  However, if you want to support the authors we feature, we’ll be adding  e-book anthologies of their stories to the bookstore in the coming months.

In other news, The Writer’s Thread and I are actively looking for new freelance clients to work and grow with, so if you know of anyone who needs help with ghostwriting, web content, or editing, please be sure to send them over to the website if you’re so inclined.

As far as my works-in-progress, I’m currently working on finishing up a mystery webcomic to be featured here, and  a sequel to The Revelation of Jack.  I’ll have more on both as we get closer to publication.

Until next time, have fun and happy reading!
